Femundsmarka has no marked winter trail, willow sticks or prepared tracks. This is reindeer, moose, beaver and otter country, with possible wolverine or bear tracks. Along the way we build core winter expedition habits: pulks, campcraft, stoves, lake crossings, ice assessment and cold weather routines.
